Terms of Service

1. Who we are

"Urban Haul", "we", or "us" refers to Urban Haul Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 with its registered office in Bhangagarh, Guwahati, Assam 781001. We operate a multi-service marketplace connecting customers with independent driver-partners, vendors, and service providers.

2. Nature of service

Urban Haul is a technology intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We facilitate transactions between users and independent third-party service providers. We are not the provider of the underlying transportation, food, delivery, accommodation, or medical services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an Urban Haul account. By using the platform you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate information, keep your login credentials safe, not misuse the platform (fraud, abuse, harassment, illegal activity), pay for services you book, and treat driver-partners and vendors with respect.

5. Payments & refunds

Fares and prices are shown upfront and inclusive of applicable GST. Refunds for cancelled or undelivered bookings are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Cancellation charges may apply per service policy.

6. Partner accounts

Vendors and driver-partners are subject to additional partner terms which govern commissions, payouts, quality standards, and grounds for deactivation. Weekly payouts are made via UPI or NEFT to the registered bank account.

7. Prohibited use

The platform may not be used to: transport prohibited goods, engage in fraud, harm other users, reverse-engineer the software, or violate Indian law. Accounts violating these terms may be suspended without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Guwahati, Assam.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
