Who can drive
- Taxi drivers — with a commercial licence and a vehicle in good condition
- Bike taxi riders — two-wheeler with valid papers and a helmet for the pillion
- Delivery partners — for food, grocery, medicine and parcel runs
You can drive full time or fit it around another job. Plenty of partners do a few hours in the evening and nothing else.
What you will need
- A valid driving licence — commercial for taxi, standard for bike and delivery
- Vehicle registration certificate, insurance and pollution certificate
- Aadhaar or another government photo ID for background verification
- A bank account in your own name
- An Android phone that can run the partner app
Safety works both ways
Every driver is background-verified before their first trip, which protects the people already on the platform as much as it screens new joiners. Rider phone numbers are masked, so nobody ends up with your personal number, and every route is logged and reviewable if a dispute comes up. In-app SOS reaches local emergency services and your trusted contact at the same time.

Do I need my own vehicle?
Yes. Urban Haul does not lease or rent vehicles to partners.
How much can I earn?
It depends entirely on your city, your hours and demand, so we will not put a number on it before your city is running. What is fixed is the split: you keep 82% of every fare.
Is there a joining fee?
No. Signing up, verification and the partner app are all free.
Can I drive part time?
Yes. There is no minimum number of trips and no shift commitment. Go online when it suits you.
My city has not launched yet — can I still apply?
Yes, and it helps. We verify and train partners ahead of launch so there are drivers on the road from the first day.
